Lexmark Optra T632 Printer - A peek at The Printing Expert

August 21st, 2010 · No Comments · Computers

Shopping for a new home use printer is no longer an easy task. I remember when I bought my first printer and there were two kinds of printers - the expensive office juggernauts and the cheap and nasty home use printers. Now the barrier between home and office use is so thin it no longer really exists. If you are in the market for a monochrome laser printer, and speed and durability are your main features, you might want to have a look at the Lexmark Optra T632 printer using Lexmark Optra T632 toner. At less than $170, and if the features it carries are right for you, it can be a great deal.

This little workhorse of a printer can deal 40 pages per minute; this is very fast when compared with other printers on the market. The printing quality is also high at 1,200 dots per inch, great quality for a printer with such a low price tag. This promises to be a favorite among consumers looking for a good return on their investment.

Connections to this printer are through a USB port. It also has a parallel port for older computers, which is a great benefit if you are using a dated system at home or in the office. This printer is really the little worker with larger sheet trays than most of the bigger printers. With a 600 sheet capacity, this Lexmark can handle more work without reloading than most printers in its league.

The processing speed of this printer is also designed for serious work. It has a seriously fast 350 MHz processor that allows it to deal with the most complex graphics and deliver graphics prints faster. A fast processor is especially important when you leave a number of jobs queued in the system. The large sheet tray and the fast processor allow you to leave a long list of jobs in the memory and get on with work, without having to hang around the printer.

The only real disadvantage of this printer is that some major features are missing. Among them are the duplex printing feature and bad starter toner. Most printers come with empty, or close to empty, toner cartridges. The duplex printing feature refers to the ability some printers have of printing both sides of a sheet in one go. This is a serious advantage when you are printing large guides, manuals or other books.

Duplex printing, however, is a feature many consumers enjoy. It is the ability to print the two sides of a sheet with the same pass. This feature is currently only found in more expensive models because the cost of duplex printing is currently quite high. Lexmark has tried to keep costs down on this printer while still providing high speed and quality printings.

This monochrome laser printer is especially designed for high volume document printing. The image graphics are good and the resolution of 1,200 dpi allows for crisp and sharp images.  The main selling point, however, is the high speed printing of monochrome documents.

The Lexmark Optra T632 printer is a great workhorse of a printer that provides fast results for high volume printer at a discount price. For less than $170 you cannot go wrong if you are looking for a durable and flexible monochrome laser printer.

You won’t go wrong with the prints made by the Lexmark Optra T632 replacement toner.  Comprehensive graphics and sharp text are a given with Lexmark toner cartridges.  Quality printer toner cartridge in the machine means great looking prints.
